A Hero's Journey - Youth Workshop

Do you remember what it was like to be a kid? We tried and sometimes failed at fitting in and never really understood that "fitting out" was a superpower. Heck, some of us are still working on that! What would you give if you had learned about leadership, communication and had hella self-esteem as a youngster? How much of an advantage would that knowledge be as you entered your young adulthood, college, partnerships, work and parenthood?

In this unique workshop, Anna and the horses will guide the kids on a journey of self discovery. In each 3 hour session, the kids will be invited to participate in activities that help them really experience what it's like to be successful, empowered, an included and desired team mate, and a leader. Kids will learn and experience commitment, responsibility, consistency, trust, and develop deep emotional awareness. Kids will truly discover that within each of them is a hero. 

This workshop includes horses. We will partner with the Beyond the Horse herd to experience the activities designed. No horse experience is needed and we WILL NOT RIDE the horses. 

Parents/Caregivers: This workshop is an investment in your time and more importantly, in your child. Each workshop day builds upon the last and therefore all 5 days are important and required for kids to attend. You are committing to bringing your child on time and picking them up on time. Please commit to the investment. If you need a customized payment plan, please email me asap and we will get something set up!

Limited to 8 participants, this workshop will fill quickly. I ask that you only sign up your child if you are fully committed to the weeklong endeavour. If this workshop time isn't quite right for your schedule, email Anna to get on the list for other opportunities. 

A Hero's Journey was created by Lauren Munger in the 1980's and touched thousands of lives through her work. Anna was lucky enough to be trained in her methodology and is honored to share it with those who she can. Unable to continue to personally work with clients and her beloved horses due to extremely limiting health issues, Lauren's Legacy was devised and established by a cohort of Gestalt Coaching Method practitioners who desired to continue to share Lauren's amazing work.  $100 from each registration fee offered through Beyond the Horse will be donated to Lauren's Legacy to support her and her family. The donation feels small in comparison to the amazing gift that Lauren has shared with the world.
