Explore, Shift & Connect

This is BEYOND a weekend of saddle sores and good views. In true Beyond the Horse fashion this retreat will unfold through heart-centered, unique, and transformational Equine coaching. We will ride AND spend time in the coaching arena. With the help of the horses, we will explore the healing power they offer us. Shift what needs shifted! Heal what needs healed! And allow the beauty of the horses and the land around you to guide you into stepping into the boots of your authentic self.

Through Anna's equine partnered coaching, you will connect with your inner guides and passions; letting go of what isn't serving you and reconnecting with your authenticity and soul. You will leave the retreat lighter, connected to your authentic self, and with an unforgettable new way of seeing the horses.

You will deepen the connection not only to self, but to your equine partners as well.

No, you've probably never experienced coaching and wellness like what' offered by Anna - it's unlike any Equine-Assisted program on the planet. In fact, the horses don't "assist" us with anything - they PARTNER with us!  I can't wait to share this exerpeince with you and your horse.

"As women we spend so much time in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We go go go and forget about taking the time to breathe, relax and get connected with our surroundings and ourselves. Join me in my favorite place on earth and get back in touch with serenity with the help of some amazing land and beautiful, healing horses."

The Badlands & Accommodations

Born a "flat-lander" from the Minnesota River Valley, I was FLOORED the first time I experienced the Badlands of Medora. The land dramatically changes from the farmlands and prairies we expect in the middle of North Dakota to the most unforgettable landscape imaginable. Buttes and valleys combine with the red shale rock to create vistas that are uniquely Medora.

Whether this is your first trip to the Badlands, or you've been going for years, you'll love the location of this exclusive retreat. Held at the privately owned King's Guest Ranch we will have access to thousands of acres of some of the most scenic land in the county.

>>> BYOH (Bring your own HORSE) and Camper <<<

Accommodations for you and your horse are a horsewoman's dream. You'll have power hook up for your horse trailer, as well as access to water and sewer (weather permitting). If you don't have a living quarters or camper trailer, book early to reserve the ranch's incredible RV and Camper accommodations for an additional rate. Don't be fooled by the word "camper". I have been calling them the Taj Mahals of Western North Dakota! The camper sleeps 2 comfortably and the RV up to 4 without problem.

Your horse will have access to private outdoor pens. Group lots are also available at no extra charge. Shade, access to water and CLEAN! Your horse will be as comfortable as you are during your stay.

If you're a girl who loves the outdoors - you're gonna relish in this retreat! I haven been traveling to the Medora Badlands every spring and fall for over 20 years! Medora's average high during May is 70 with lows of 40,  October average high is 60 with lows of 35. So pack your Wild Rag, your down vest and get ready to have your breath taken away in the beauty of the seasons. Nothing beats a toasty campfire surrounded by like-minded and horse loving women.

This exclusive retreat gives each of us the opportunity to navigate the trails of life. What parts of your life follow a well-marked and pre-determined path? What parts of your life invite you to be a trail blazer and create your own trail? What is good about that and what is scary? We will have so many opportunities to learn about our horses, and ourselves, on this amazing trip.

Investment in YOU

During the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we loose touch with our passions. We carry our pains and limitations within our bodies and the impact of that is leaving us stressed, burdened, hurried and unable to slow down and take a breath.

Our greatest gift in life are horses, they are the ones who give us just a moment of clarity. Upon their strong backs and weaved through their manes, they allow us to unwind and release our worries and frustrations.  For within those brief moments with them, we can feel our authentic selves again.

But when we leave the side of these precious horses, we again pick up the heaviness of our burdens. How can we free ourselves once and for all and get back to who we are?

The answer to that is found by experiencing transformative coaching with the help of Anna and the horses.

In my twenties  and early thirties I found myself stressed , close to professional burnout, at a loss for what brought passion into my life, and afraid to set out on this big, great idea that I hoped would make a difference in the world. I started to combine horses and my ideas around what mental health SHOULD be and created Beyond the Horse. Through the help of a coach and horse, I was able to finally release the things that were not serving me and step into my authentic self. And today I LOVE sharing that with others and making a difference in the lives of humans and horses alike!

In my Cowgirl Retreats, I combine my love of riding, wide open spaces, and my love of healing through the help of horses. And I strive to make a difference in the lives of women, who like me, are ready to step into authenticity. Women who are curious enough to experience the healing power of horses. What I especially love about my Cowgirl Retreats is that when you bring one of your personal horses along with, they often get to shine in the coaching arena and show you exactly what they've been trying to help you solve or heal.

I invite you to join me on this adventure and discover the possibilities through the eyes of a horse.

>>> If not now, when? <<<
